Brand 718 Coffee Company...

Background...
In Rwanda in 1994, mass genocide led to around 1 million (Tutsi's & Hutu's) Fathers and Sons, being killed in 100 days.
The widows left behind by this tragic slaughter have been working hard to rebuild their devastated community.
The Coffee...
Our coffee is produced by local farmers on a plantation in the mountainous, volcanic region of Northern Rwanda.  85% of the plantation’s employees are vulnerable woman/widows, all of whom, as a result, now have their own income.
Our coffee is fully traceable from planted seed in Rwanda all the way through to coffee cup here at our own Brand 718 Coffee Company and The Stables eatery.
How we are helping...
By using the the profits earned from the selling of locally grown and harvested coffee beans and with the support of further charitable works, the vulnerable women and widows of Rwanda have been able to achieve incredible things.  Such as the  rebuilding of schools, medical centres and broader community projects. The development of irrigation systems has meant they have been able to create self sufficient farms, establishing the basis for more stable and widespread development of entire communities for the future.
The future...
Our ongoing support, in the form of profits from the coffee brought by BRHC.Group, will help the vulnerable women and widows of Rwanda, continue  this incredibly humbling journey of reestablishing their ravaged communities, thereby creating a sustainable future for themselves and their children.
